Fusik: Worldly Approches to Improvisation

Hildegard’s Ghost is very honoured to be involved in this unique concert centred around worldly approaches to improvisation. Sharing the night with HG will be Sina Ettehad (kamancheh) and Amarjeet Singh (tabla) who fuse Hindustani and Persian traditions with the common theme of improvisation: The music that we play together reflects the improvisation styles of our cultures. This means taking a small idea or melodic form or phrase and developing it into something much larger, beyond its primary character. It takes place at the Kay Meek Theatre on December 17th.
